Hello! I am a researcher and freelance journalist writing on developments in the South Caucasus. I am from the former-Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan, a region sandwiched between Russia and Iran. I worked for several international organisations, including OSCE, International Crisis Group, Human Rights House Foundation. I hold MA in International Human Rights from the University of Essex, England. Being an author/co-author of several international policy briefings and reports, I continue to write articles for a number of international media outlets and organisations.
I also remain as a contact person for several international human rights watchdogs.
